Mutations
Almost no Fauri are born entirely plain, with eye and horn mutations being particularly common. Not all mutations are created equal - whether society admires or looks down on a mutated Fauri often depend both on the mutation and the Court.
Mutations run in family lines, so a Court known for a one they deem desirable guards it closely. Its males are asked for more often, and it can ask a higher price for lending them.
Antlers
Antlers are the most controversial mutation due to their resemblance to the Goddess. Some Courts revere an antlered Fauri as blessed by her, while others find it presumptuous - particularly on a male.
Glamour
Glamour - patterns of glowing hair - is the rarest mutation of all. The Fauri believe it is a gift from the Goddess, granted to a faunling while it is still in the womb.
A glamoured Fauri is often treated as blessed - and those Fauri, raised in a world that adores them, don't necessarily use their influence for selfless reasons.
